About the Logo
When designing the logo, we wanted to highlight our focus on supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital while also showcasing our love for photography.
After learning more about St. Jude, we discovered that he is often symbolized by boats, axes, clubs, oars, and medallions. We decided to use the boat in our logo for this very reason.
To combine photography with the symbol of St. Jude, the circles around the boat act as a camera lens photographing the boat as it passes.
How Photos With A Purpose Began
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a cause that was dear to my mother's heart. St. Jude is the patron saint of desperate and lost causes. There have been times in my life, and I am sure in many others, where it felt like times were desperate and hard. I hope to do my part to help those in need by supporting the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 100% of profits from sales of this site go to that cause. It's a small gesture, but it is something.
